Just found from more searches that there is a Firefox plugin called SQLite Manager that can import the db3 file from Ovi Suite (in Win it was in my AppData/Local/Nokia/Nokia Data Store/DataBase/MDataStore.db3). I needed only the contacts, so I exported the contacts table to CSV.
Goodbye Nokia, welcome Android and readable formats.

Actually from windows Vista onward there's no need to open windows live mail at all, from the windows contacts directory, simply select "export" from the top panel.

Vikram,

Windows Live Mail is very different from Outlook. It is simpler and appears to have fewer barriers and things that must fit right than Outlook. If you can, download and install it (free!) and try my 'method' out. Hope it works.
